Sarah Hyland Marries Wells Adams See Her Two Vera Wang Wedding Dress All We Know

After being delayed due to the pandemic, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams were wed on Saturday, and her bridal attire was out of a storybook. Hyland, 31, made her debut in an ivory silk Vera Wang Haute Couture ballgown with a sweetheart neckline, hand-pleated bodice, tulle sleeves, and a thigh-high slit.

A cathedral-length tulle veil with an Italian macramé lace trim completed the Modern Family alum’s wedding ensemble. She wore curls that framed her face in a lovely half-up manner.

“The epitome of charm. So glad to join in your joy! Many thanks. XXV, “Hyland’s stunning wedding photo was captioned by Wang on Instagram. Vanessa Hudgens and musician GG Magree were bridesmaids, and influencer and actress Ciara Robinson served as maid of honor.

Hyland’s “Modern Family” co-stars, including Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who performed the wedding for his television niece, were present in addition to Adams’ “Bachelor” family.

Vergara shared many behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram, including a look at her festive black-and-white midi skirt ($360) and crop top from Dubai-based designer Bambah. The bride and groom haven’t yet shared any photos from the big day.

The Love Island host changed into a strapless lace Vera Wang Haute Couture dress with a draped neckline and hand-detachable tulle sleeves for the afterparty. In a black suit and slender tie, her groom looked dashing. According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, the pair wed on August 20 at Sunstone Winery close to Santa Barbara, California, in an outdoor ceremony.

At the celebration for the pair, Hyland’s Modern Family co-stars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara (who brought her son, Manolo Vergara), Julie Bowen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (who was accompanied by his husband, Justin Mikita) were also present. After almost two years of dating, Adams proposed to Hyland in the summer of 2019. Due to COVID-19 worries throughout the epidemic, the pair repeatedly postponed their wedding from its initial August 2020 date.

They first flirted on Twitter in 2016 before finally becoming together in the fall of 2017. The couple met online. Before their relationship, Hyland was open about her not-so-secret obsession with Adams when he competed for JoJo Fletcher’s affection on season 12 of The Bachelorette in 2016.

Hyland revealed to PEOPLE last month that over the lengthy engagement of the couple, her plans for her wedding attire had changed. She announced while promoting the couple’s Amazon registry, “I’m going with more outfits than I originally anticipated.” My vision board, however, is still intact. In addition to “trying on a bunch of things and making a decision,” Adams claimed he was bringing along “more grey hairs than I originally expected” to his wedding.

Except for a debate over whether to include their dogs, Carl, a bloodhound, and Boo, a labrador retriever, in the ceremony, the pair insisted that they were in accord while preparing for their ideal wedding over the past few years. Adams insisted on his position even though Hyland wanted them to be there with her.

It’s most likely where we disagree the most, but I also concur, she told PEOPLE. “Boo loves every fitting I have at home,” I said. She likes to sit on my long trains when I have them. She enjoys becoming involved. She is quite feminine. And I shudder to think of the stains and harm she might inflict on a white outfit.
