He wrote songs like “Outta My Head”, “Just a Sip”, “Beer in the Headlights”, “Out Like That”, Roller Coaster”, “I’m Hungover”, “Love in a College Town”, “In Love with the Girl”, “Shore Thing”, “The Sand I Brought to the Beach,” and “Shake the Sand,” “Get Me Some of That”, and “Water Tower Town.” He served as the co-writer for the singles titled “This Is How We Roll” and “Nothin’ but the Cooler Left”.
In 2013, Swindell released the single titled “Chillin’ It” which peaked at number 1 on the US Country chart, 2 on the US Country Airplay chart, 5 on the Canadian country chart, and 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.
