He initially wanted to be an NBA player and called Rajon Rondo his idol. However, his low grades made him unable to continue playing basketball while he was in high school. In eleventh grade, he released his first single on YouTube. He then started performing in several clubs and after he began gaining recognition for his music, he dropped his studies in 12th grade.
