Supernatural and Legacies stars join Kung Fu season 3

The highly anticipated Supernatural spin-off The Winchesters has finished filming its pilot. In New Orleans, the Supernatural prequel has been in development for the past month. The Winchesters’ executive producer, Danneel Ackles, the wife of original series star Jensen Ackles, posted the news on Instagram along with a behind-the-scenes picture from the set. That’s a wrap, wrote Ackles. “What a fantasy! Thanks to all of our relatives, both new and old.” Although a release date has not yet been set, Jensen Ackles will reprise his role as Dean Winchester for this episode’s narration. As we explore the family’s history, Mary and John Winchester, the parents of Sam and Dean Winchester, take centre stage.

Young Mary Winchester is portrayed by American Housewife star Meg Donnelly, and Sam and Dean’s father John is portrayed by The In-Between actor Drake Rodger. Nida Khurshid from Station 19 and newbie Jojo Flites are also cast members. According to its official synopsis, The Winchesters will be a “epic, untold love story of how John met Mary and how they put it all on the line to not just save their love but the entire planet.” Ackles has previously spoken candidly about the origins of The Winchesters. He remarked, “Danneel and I knew the first tale we wanted to tell was the story of John and Mary Winchester, or rather the Supernatural origin story, when we created Chaos Machine Productions.

The CW’s decision to cancel “Bittersweet,” according to the Riverdale boss

Kung Fu, created by Christina M. Kim, is a remake of the same-named 1972 television program. The story, which is set in the present, centers on Nicky, who quits college to live by herself in a Chinese monastery. When she returns to America, she discovers that her neighborhood has fallen victim to crime and corruption. She makes a commitment to using her martial arts training to defend her neighborhood and her family. Along with Liang and Tan, other actors who appear in the series include Eddie Liu, Shannon Dang, Jon Prasida, Gavin Stenhouse, Tony Chung, Tzi Ma, Yvonne Chapman, and JB Taneda.

Several shows, including Kung Fu, managed to survive The CW’s slaughter of cancellations in spring 2022.
