Malia Ann Obama was born on July 4, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois, at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She went to Trinity Christian School when her family lived in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago. Obama did a lot of sports and activities when she was young, and she also sang at her church, Trinity Baptist Church.
