Early Life 

Bobby was born on August 4, 1994, in Miami, Florida to Leslie Pollard and Gervase Johnson relocated to East Flatbush, Brooklyn, following his father, who was sentenced to life imprisonment on charges of attempted murder in 1995. At the time, Bobby was just 2 months old. Her mother brought up him and his brother with his grandmother’s help.

While he was still living in Brooklyn, there were a number of run-ins against him with the law and even he was sent to a juvenile detention center for fifteen months for probation violation and gun charges.

Legal Controversy

Bobby was detained in June 2014 and charged with a felony criminal possession of a weapon but then he was released on $10,000 bail. He was again arrested after a few months along with 14 others, that also included his brother, on charges of conspiracy to attempt murder, reckless endangerment, and drug and gun possession.

He was found guilty and was held on bail of $2 million. Then in June 2015, officials caught Bobby and his former girlfriend having smuggled a knife into Rikers Island. They were subsequently charged with 2 counts of promoting contraband, apart from 1 count of unlawful possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

Bobby was found guilty on 1 count of weapons possession in 2016 along with a count of third-degree conspiracy. As a result of this, he was convicted to imprisonment of seven years which was later reduced to 5 years and a probation period of 2 years. Bobby was sentenced to four years in prison in early 2015 for sneaking a shiv into his cell. 

While he was still in prison, Bobby was engaged in many brawls and he was relocated to Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York in 2017 to complete his punishment in protective custody.

His conditional release date was scheduled on December 11, 2020, following the completion of his full sentence, by his parole board. But his credit for good institutional behavior qualified him for conditional release in February 2021, with the remaining sentence to be served on parole. He will be under parole through the end of his full sentence on February 23, 2026.
