Curtis was born in Santa Monica, California on the 22nd of November 1958. She is the daughter of late actor Tony Curtis, and late actress Janet Leigh. She grew up with her older sister and when she was just 4 years old, her parents divorced. Following completion of her high school graduation, she attended the University of the Pacific though she subsequently left in pursuit of her acting career.  

Relationships

Jamie tied the knot with a popular screenwriter, musician, and actor named Christopher Guest in 1984. The couple adopted two children over the next few years.
