Arsenal:  Gunners’ 3-1 Pre-season Win Over Orlando City Taught Things

Arsenal moved further in their pre-season preparations with a 3-1 victory at the Exploria Stadium against Orlando City.

Following the cancellation of Gabriel Martinelli’s goal by Facundo Torres, the Gunners’ opponents held them, prior to Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson’s strikes that brought them the win.

A number of Arsenal players will be there thinking about where would they stand after Zinchenko’s arrival. They comprise Albert Sambi Lokonga.

In the Arsenal midfield, the contest is now much more vicious where he began on the left of the midfield three which aptly matched the creativity of Zinchenko.

Though with the people of Ukraine watching on, Albert had a quite good hour as he aided in creating Martinelli’s opener, he put in the second opportunity for Nketiah and moved closer with his own efforts during the second half.

Easier Night for Kroenke

This evening instead turned out to be more delightful for Stan Kroenke.

Three years earlier was the last time when the owner of Arsenal watched his side play over here in Denver and at that time the supporters of Gunners had given him dog abuse.

On Wednesday night, there was a less toxic environment as CEO Vinai Venkatesham, Stan, as well as Josh Kroenke, came together in Orlando.

Maybe as Zinchenko joined them here, the person whose imminent emergence will take summer expenditures by Arsenal to nearly £115 million. That is following they were the biggest spenders in the Premier League in the summer of 2021.

Holding and Mari Marked Open

This week, Rob Holding continued the defensive, declining to hold the can for Arsenal’s collapse in the Champions League race of the last season. In addition, he wants more than a little-part role seeing out games for the last few minutes.

Gunners’ 3-1 pre-season win over Orlando City

Sadly, Rob now experiences tougher competition after the arrival of William Saliba and, in this respect, playing with Pablo Mari would not help his cause certainly. On Wednesday night, they began together and were marked open a number of times, prior to when the changes were rung by Mike Arteta at halftime.

After 90 seconds, Rob was booked and later Benji Michel left him halfway. At half-time, Gabriel’s introduction allows him to enjoy a more hushed fifteen minutes following the break.

Pato Displays Moments of Class

Alexandre Pato, who was once the future 32-year-old Brazilian striker is playing his second season with Orlando City.

Though injuries remain to ruin his physical health and stamina, still Alexandre displayed beats of class on Wednesday night against Arsenal. Albeit at a walking pace. He changed shirts following the game and posed for pictures with Gabriel Jesus.

The fans of Arsenal will wish for him to last longer in London as compared to Pato, who spent 6 months on loan at Chelsea in 2016 as a result of an injury
