That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime is a Japanese anime television series that is inspired by the light novel series of the same name written by Fuse. Eight Bit picked the series for an anime adaptation whereas it is directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi with Atsushi Nakayama serving as an assistant director.
The series centers around a man who is murdered and takes rebirth in some other world as a slime, Rimuru. The first season of the series premiered on October 5, 2018, on Tokyo MX and other networks, dropping its last episode on March 22, 2019. It has a total of 24 episodes.
The series was then renewed for a second season that came out in two parts; with the first part airing on January 12, 2021, and ended on March 30, 2021, with a total of twelve episodes. The next 12-episode second part aired from July 6, 2021, to September 21, 2021.

In the season 2 finale episode, we saw Rimuru in his final battle against the demon lord Clayman. Clayman obtained new powers after accomplishing an awakening that made him stronger than ever.
But still, the episode concludes with a happy note as Rimuru wins the battle.
