Anime Expo 2022:Anime Expo announced via press release that the event will come back to its traditional venue of the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2022 and be organized like a festival. The convention was canceled in 2020 due to a covid pandemic. At that time quarantine and stay-at-home orders were mandatory for everyone and people followed safety guidelines. The first time the convention missed a year in its almost three-decade history. The expo happened online-only and was the streaming event in 2021.
People can watch with ticket sales being donated to the Hate Is A Virus community action fund, a non-profit organization. They provide support to the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities and fight against the rise in Anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination across the country. Anime Expo said that it already donated over $77,000 in 2021 from ticket sales. it was collected from online conventions with over 375,000 viewers across the world.

Is there a national Anime day?
Premier Fan costs ticket $499 for four Days. The children’s Pass is also available at the cost of $120 but children have an age limit of 6 to 12 years. One-day ticket charge is $40 except Saturday and Sunday. For the last two days of the week, the ticket price is $65 per person. All collected money from the expo will be donated to the human rights organizations.

Anime Expo History
The first time, Anime Expo began in 1992, and for the first two years, the event was held in northern California. In 1994 the convention shifted to the Anaheim Convention has grown and anime convention for long time in North America. In 2009 the convention was held in Los Angeles Convention Center, where the yearly E3 gaming convention was held. It has been held there for most of the years ever since. The 2021 online-only convention featured the first look at Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Visions anthology, which is being produced by some of the top animation studios in Japan, and the premiere of the Shikizakura CG animated movie.
