Ted Lasso Season 3 Expected Storyline
Season 3 of Ted Lasso may explore Ted coping with the consequence of getting backstabbed by assistant coach Nate Shelley (played by Nick Mohammed). Following the leak of information about Ted’s panic attack to Trent, Nate and Ted have an important exchange.
At the end of the episode, we saw that Rebecca’s ex Rupert Mannion (portrayed by Anthony Head) offered Nate the position of head coach for the West Ham United team.
The relationship between Roy and Keeley saw its ups and downs across the second season, which creates a way for more tension in the upcoming season.
Fans were also excited to know if they can expect to see potential sparks between Ted and Rebecca.
Addressing their romance, in a January 2022 interview, Jimoh said “I will fight for it, 100 percent,” adding further “But listen, wherever the story goes, it goes… [Sam and Rebecca] are so close, they have insane chemistry, but I’m also like if that’s a friendship then, and it’s platonic as well, then that’s also really [great]. I think whatever’s best for them, whatever makes them happy in the end, like, I’m rooting for them.”
Is Ted Lasso Season 3 the Last Season in the Series?
The creators of the series initially preplanned a three-season arc for it, but fans are still keeping their hopes high expecting that they may get to see the series’ continuation even after the third season.
But in a June 2022 interview with the UK’s Sunday Times, Goldstein said that the third season will be the final in the series saying: “We are writing it [as an ending to the show],” he told the outlet. “It was planned as three. Spoiler alert: everyone dies.”
