Miller was arrested in 2002 for the murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas, and he was sentenced to life in prison on August 14, 2009. Miller is jailed at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at present.

Two significant witnesses in the prosecution of Miller recanted their testimony in 2018, stating that officials pressured them into testifying against Miller. Miller maintains his innocence, and he, his brothers, and his nephew have all demanded a new trial on many occasions.

C-Murder, whose true name is Corey Miller, was sentenced to life in prison in 2009 for the 2002 shooting death of Steven Thomas, age 16, at a Louisiana nightclub.

The case was revisited in BET’s new documentary series No Limit Chronicles, with two key witness comments contradicting their 2018 testimony, alleging that police and prosecutors pressured them into identifying Miller as the shooter.

Miller has always retained his employment, but his attorneys’ numerous attempts to get his conviction reversed have failed.

What Has Happened to C Murders?

Sometimes known as C-Murder, Corey Miller was found guilty of the charges brought against him, although his case was controversial. Several witnesses may have been accused of lying to the jury while on hold, but a juror has since admitted that the government coerced her into giving a guilty verdict against her judgment.

In addition, a witness recanted his testimony in 2018. C-conviction murders have always been maintained. The 49-year-old is presently detained at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center, where he will likely spend the remainder of his natural life if he cannot establish his innocence, which he continues to assert.

He continues to compose songs while jailed, with “Don’t Wanna Trap No More” scheduled for release in January 2021. It is also important to recall that Kim Kardashian has been advocating for the C-release of Murders for quite some time, citing the lack of forensic evidence against him.

C Murders Premiere Date

Kim Kardashian, a reality television celebrity, was attending law school. Kim has been engaging with attorneys for criminal justice. She was determined to release C Murders. He was accused of both the murder of Steve Thompson and inciting a riot at another bar. On January 19, 2002, their arrest of Corey occurred.

Multiple witnesses have testified that C Murders pulled the trigger. It would appear that C Murders is not unfamiliar with creating conflicts in clubs and pubs. In 2009, C Murders was given home detention and sentenced to ten years in jail.

C Murders was condemned to life in prison without the possibility of release following a retrial. Consequently, his release date has not been determined.

In 2018, when two witnesses from the shooting night declined to testify, new reasons arose. The first witness, Kenneth Jordan, said that cops persuaded him to identify C-Murder as the culprit.

Kenneth claimed in his statement, “I know that the individual I saw shooting the pistol was not Corey Miller” Darnell Jordan, who worked security the night of the incident, alleged that police “tricked” him into naming C-Murder as the perpetrator.

He said he was arrested and kept as a drug witness until he consented to testify against the rapper in 2003. I am sure that Corey Miller did not shoot Steve Thomas, he claimed in a statement.

Kardashian West revealed that she would cooperate with singer Monica, who was dating Miller at the time of his arrest, and REFORM Alliance members Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney.

This organization’s mission is to “dramatically reduce the number of individuals subjected to the criminal justice system in error.”
