Dead to Me season 3 Plot
Each season concentrates on a different character’s secret—the first being that Judy was engaged in the hit-and-run that killed Jen’s husband, and the second being that Jen did not murder Steve in self-defense.
Season 3 is slated to focus on another character’s secret. Liz Feldman, showrunner, told Refinery29 that she knew where the following chapter would go based on how Season 2 concluded. “Now there’s another person with a secret,” she stated.
That is most likely referring to Ben, as he collided with Jen and Judy while driving under the influence and fled the scene. Feldman is interested in continuing to investigate the “continuous give and take of whether you should tell someone anything if you know it would damage them.”
Thus, the following part should center on Ben’s deal with abandoning the accident, potentially harming Jen, with whom he was emotionally connected, and any legal proceedings.
To TV Guide, James Marsden even discussed the prospect of Season 3 focusing on Ben’s mounting issues. As he stated, “Not only is he likely to discover that Jen is to blame for his brother’s murder, but he is also guilty of hit-and-run.
And they were the hit-and-run victims. And in the first season, his brother was involved in a hit-and-run… I believe [Ben] makes a conscious effort to look in the mirror alone and do the right thing… but occasionally, the pressures can overcome him.”
