Who is Russell Simmons’ Daughter?
The name of Russell Simmons’ daughters is Ming and Aoki Lee Simmons. In their relatively short careers, they have already achieved a tremendous deal. Aoki was born on August 16, 2002, while Ming was born on January 21, 2000.
The sisters are well-known online personalities with high social media fan bases. Ming has 1.2 million followers on the Instagram account @mingleesimmons, while Aoki has 763K followers on Instagram @aokileesimmons.
Both are models who have shared the runway with their model and fashion designer mother, Kimora. Ming received his degree from New York University in May 2023. Aoki reportedly received a scholarship to Harvard University when he was just 16 years old. In May 2023, she received her diploma from an Ivy League school.

What Happened Between Russell and His Daughters Recently?
Ming, the 23-year-old ex-couples oldest child wished her mother a happy Father’s Day on her Instagram Story on Sunday, June 18, 2023 which apparently infuriated Russell.
After that Aoki decided to post multiple screenshots of her discussions with her father on Monday, June 19, 2023 saying she’s “had enough” of him since he’s “been awful to her for years and that’s just the truth.”
Russell said in the texts that Kimora had stolen both his money and his children’s love, to which Aoki responded. She said:
“I’m out here praying for you and hoping everything goes well and you call my mother a piece of s–t. … Don’t ever say that again. She did not steal it, you lost it”.
Kimora claimed that when Russell “threἀtened their kids’ lives” this caused Aoki to experience “severe panic attἀcks” and be “placed on emergency medication” whenever she speaks to him.
Aoki added that “every phone call” with Russell was “filled with anger”, “cursing” and “screaming” and that he would “yell and scream about a legal situation” in which she is not involved.
She informed her supporters:
“I did not side with anyone over any legal business, he’s been directly harmful to me, He tries to get at my mom by hurting US.”
She also shared a screen capture of her father yelling at her during a muted FaceTime session. Aoki claimed that she had done everything since she was 15. Aoki said that she and her family think he’s mentally ill or experiencing something like dementia, calling it a terrἰfying change to watch.

She said:
“Prior to his media issues he was really the best dad ever and a great co parent, He and my mom were best friends.”
