All the fans have been eagerly waiting to know about the third season of Control Z and here’s everything you should know right from the premiere date to the trailer and many more. Read out the full article below.

Control Z Season 3 Release Date

In September 2021, the next month after the premiere, Netflix made the official announcement about the series getting a renewal for its third season and the good news is that it has been confirmed that the upcoming season will be dropped this year.

Though there is no exact release date announced yet since season 3 is currently under production, we don’t think we need to wait much longer to watch the upcoming season. If the third season would also follow the same release pattern as in previous seasons, then it may kick off during the third quarter of this year.

Control Z Season 3 Cast

No words have been uttered yet about the cast of the upcoming season but we can expect the below characters to return to reprise their roles from previous seasons.

There may be additions or changes to the characters but the official confirmation is awaited for the same.

Control Z Season 3 Expected Storyline

Before taking a leap into what to expect from the storyline of the upcoming season let’s take a quick sneak peek at what happened in previous seasons.

In the first season, the series begins with a hacker who revealed a big secret to one of the students during an assembly at Colegio Nacional (Spanish for National School) and that student turns out to be a cloistered transgender individual who feels very embarrassed and this leads to making him feel panic within the student body and an elite group of friends.

The hacker keeps exposing the dark secrets of the students that led many students against each other making the matter even more intense in such a way that it results in the death of one of the students.

A silent teenager named Sofia Herrera, the lead character of the series attempts to figure out about the hacker prior to that hacker getting more famous.

As Sofia embarks on unveiling the identity of the hacker, she becomes friends with Javier and Raúl. With the revelations of more, the friendships and relationships became sour and during the end of the first season, we see that the identity of the hacker is disclosed.

At the beginning of the second season, a new semester at El Colegio Nacional starts, and it looks like people have all but forgotten everything other than Luis. Later, an unidentified person takes control of Luis’s social media account and threatens revenge upon the people who turned his life into hell.

Once again, Sofia has to find out about the person behind all this and each act of revenge becomes extreme and just turns the lives of the main characters upside down.

Similar to the last season, the upcoming season will most probably start where the second season left us. It is also probable that everyone will have to encounter a trial as a result of what occurred to the principal.

Hence, the storyline might follow the students attempting to cover for the crime but there might be someone who will attempt to wipe out the attempts by students.

There are so many things that are left unanswered and we expect that the forthcoming season will bring answers to all the questions and Javier’s and Sofia’s restored friendship, there will likely not be another love triangle.

We may see the students will have to collect money and themselves to protect Natalia in the upcoming season
