Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman who is better known as Zendaya is an American singer, actress, and producer. From appearing in commercials for Old Navy, Macy’s, and “iCarly”-related merchandise, she has come a long way.

Zendaya was born in Oakland, California on 1 September 1996. Her father is Kazembe Ajamu Coleman and her mother is Claire Stoermer. She is the youngest among five siblings. Zendaya went to attend Fruitvale Elementary School, where her mother has taught for nearly twenty years.
When she was 6, she performed a play with two friends in the school for Black History Month. She is raised as a performer in part at the neighboring California Shakespeare Theater in Orinda, California, where her mother used to work a summer job as the house manager.
She assisted her seat supporters, sold off fundraising tickets, and the theatrical performances became her inspiration to pursue a career in acting.
