On Friday, March 18, 2022, a new teaser visual has been dropped from the official website for the Teasing Master Takagi-san anime for the forthcoming animated movie of the franchise and the teaser has brought us the confirmed release date of the film. The new visual reveals that the film will premiere on June 10.
Is there a release date for Teasing Master Takagi-san?
On March 18, the new teaser comes with the announcement of the release date of the film and it has been revealed that Teasing Master Takagi-san is set to be rolled out on June 10, 2022, and the whole prominent cast will be returning from the third season of season 3 of the anime in order to reprise their roles besides the main cast.
The teasing Master Takagi-san manga series written and illustrated by Sōichirō Yamamoto started serialization back in 2013 in Monthly Shōnen Sunday Mini magazine by Shogakukan.
The series then shifted to Monthly Shōnen Sunday back in 2016 beside In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki manga series written by Yamamoto, which is all set to have an animated adaptation picked up by CloverWorks in April.
There are many spin-off series which are based on the award-winning manga along with a mobile game as well titled Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san: Kyun-Kyun Records, the game is set to be launched this year in Spring for Android as well as iOS.
The Ashita wa Doyōbi sequel manga, the focus of which was mainly upon other members of Takagi and Nishikata’s class, ran in Shogakukan’s Yomiuri Chūkōsei Shimbun magazine from period 2014-2015 and clustered 2 tankōbon volumes.
The other classmate-centric sequel titled Koi ni Koisuru Yukari-chan, serialized in Monthly Shōnen Sunday from the period 2017-2020 amassed 5 tankōbon volumes.
The Karakai Jōzu no (Moto) Takagi-san sequel manga, which revolved around the married life of adult Takagi and Nishikata started running in Shogakukan’s MangaONE back in 2017.
Season one of the Teasing Master Takagi-san anime series premiered during the Winter 2018 season, whereas season 2 of the series aired in the summer of 2019; the third season is currently premiering.
Shin-Ei Animation has animated the series whereas Hiroaki Akagi served as the director and the composition of the series is being looked after by Michiko Yokote, Hiroaki Tsutsumi serving as the music composer for the series.
Teasing Master Takagi-san manga was also published in English by Yen Press. The first season of the series was licensed by Crunchyroll and Funimation whereas the second season is available on Netflix. The third season has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks and the forthcoming film will also be licensed by it.
