Season 2 of The Winx Saga missed the January anniversary debut window, was AWOL in February, and will also miss the March release window.
Though this is not due to a production delay. As previously reported by Netflix Life, shooting on the second season concluded in November 2021.
Season 2 is around three months into post-production. Abigail Cowen, the show’s lead, did inform Collider that the new season will arrive on Netflix later this year. That’s unsurprising, given that post-production can take between six and eight months or more if special effects are required.
What does this indicate for the second season’s news? To be sure, it will begin filtering in as we near the conclusion of post-production. Netflix confirmed the following cast additions ahead of the start of season 2 filming:
- Brandon Grace in the role of Grey
- Éanna Hardwicke in the role of Sebastian
- Paulina Chávez in the role of Flora
However, nothing more has been disclosed about the season. Season 2 has no official set pictures or stills. We are most definitely not in promotion at the moment. We have a video announcing the start of production last year, which you can view below.
Is There a Release Date for Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2?
Season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga will begin post-production in May. Stranger Things season 4 is scheduled to launch on May 27, which means Bloom and the gang are unlikely to return in the same month as that juggernaut program.

Fate: The Winx Saga’s sophomore season might debut in June, sandwiched between Stranger Things season 4’s Part 1 and Part 2. However, if season 2 is not released in June, we will have to wait until late July or August to view the new program, as Stranger Things returns on July 1.
With no official release date for the second season confirmed, we can only speculate on when Fate: The Winx Saga will return, although it’s looking like summer 2022.
