Written by Asato Asato, the 86 Eighty-Six novel series is a famous Japanese novel series that has also been translated into a manga by Motoki Yoshihara.
A-1 Pictures took up the anime adaptation of the manga series, and the program was scheduled to air in April 2021. According to the official website, the production company separated the first season of the anime series into two parts.
First airing in April 2021, the anime resumed with the second season in October 2021, which aired through March 2022, and the third season premiered in April 2022.
The whole anime community treated the second and third seasons of the 86 Eighty-Six anime series as separate seasons. Even Crunchyroll published a trailer for the second season, titled “Season 2,” to promote the show.
And now that the second season of the series has concluded, the fan base is looking forward to season 3 of the show.
Season 3 of 86 Eighty-six Has Not Yet Been Confirmed
When writing this page, A-1 Pictures has not officially announced Season 3 of 86 Eighty-Six as a television series. However, because the Season 2 finale has just aired, it’s best to hold off on hearing anything regarding the show’s renewal for the time being.
There’s no denying that 86 Eighty-Six is a fantastic anime series with a massive audience of millions of people that loves it. The anime, particularly season 2, experienced multiple delays that angered the fan base.

And on top of that, the novel series contains enough material that it may be adapted into an anime. Eleven volumes of the Eighty-Six Light novels have been published, with the anime adaptations of just three of those volumes.
