A-1 Pictures took up the anime adaptation of the manga series, and the program was scheduled to air in April 2021. According to the official website, the production company separated the first season of the anime series into two parts.

First airing in April 2021, the anime resumed with the second season in October 2021, which aired through March 2022, and the third season premiered in April 2022.

The whole anime community treated the second and third seasons of the 86 Eighty-Six anime series as separate seasons. Even Crunchyroll published a trailer for the second season, titled “Season 2,” to promote the show.
