Inside Out is a computer-animated film written and directed by Pete Docter, inspired by a story written by Ronnie del Carmen, produced by Jonas Rivera.
The film rolled out on June 19, 2015, in the United States. The film follows a young girl named Riley, within her mind, there are the basic emotions that lead her actions: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger.
The film received much appreciation for vocal performances, craftsmanship, screenplay, plot, subject matter and was loved by audiences as well as critics.
The film was placed among the top 10 films of 2015 by organizations like the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute.
The film has an amazing rating of 8.2 out of 10 on IMDB and 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. It earned $858.8 million across the world against the budget of $175 million and finished its theatrical run as the 7th highest-grossing film of 2015.
The film received numerous accolades that including Best Animated Feature at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards and others.

Is Inside Out 2 Confirmed?
Unfortunately, there is no official announcement, not even a word has been uttered by the Inside Out team that hints at the second installment.
They neither have hinted on cancellations so there have been many speculations around Inside Out 2 and the film was so loved that fans are now becoming impatient for a positive update about it.
