Legacies is a supernatural drama television series created by Julie Plec for The CW. The series is a spin-off to “The Originals,” and the series features characters from that series as well as its predecessors The Vampire Diaries also.
The drama stars Danielle Rose Russell, Kaylee Bryant, Aria Shahghasemi, Quincy Fouse, Jenny Boyd, Matt Davis, Peyton Alex Smith, Chris Lee, Ben Levin, Leo Howard, and Omono Okojie.
The series revolves around Hope Mikaelson who is the tribrid daughter of a Vampire, a Werewolf hybrid, and she gets on to the world.
The series first aired on October 25, 2018, on The CW and ended on March 28, 2018, with 16 episodes. The second season aired on October 10, 2019, and ended on March 26, 2020, whereas the third season premiered on January 21, 2021, and ended on June 24, 2021. All these three seasons had sixteen episodes each.
The fourth season premiered on October 14, 2021, on The CW and is still streaming. The series has received well by the audiences as well as critics and has an IMDB rating of 7.5 out of 10 and 82 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Legacies Season 5 Release Date
There is no official announcement made yet about the renewal of the show for the fifth season but we can expect an announcement soon from the original network The CW. As we know that season 4 has not been concluded yet so it may take a little more time as well.
If the series gets a renewal, then considering the release pattern of the series’ previous seasons, we can expect the fifth season to come out either in the fourth quarter this year or early 2023.

Legacies Season 5 Storyline
The series revolves around the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall named Hope Mikaelson, who is stemmed from some of the really powerful vampires, witch bloodlines, and werewolves.
After the two years passed since the events of The Originals, Hope goes to attend the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. In the school, a haven is being given where supernatural beings can understand how to control their powers and wishes.
Well, as currently season 4 is premiering and hasn’t reached a conclusion yet then it’s really difficult to predict anything for the fifth season yet.
