‘Homeland’ is an American television series that has aired for eight seasons and consists of 96 episodes.
The program centers on Carrie Mathison, a CIA operations officer who suffers from bipolar illness. Carrie chased a famous US Marine on suspicion of collaborating with terrorists.
Saul Berenson, the CIA Division Chief, mentored Carrie as she began her assignment. The series is an adaptation of Gideon Raff’s Israeli television series “Prisoners of War.”

Homeland is the story of an apprentice and his master. Saul and Carrie become engaged in a dangerous espionage mission throughout eight seasons.
Gansa also mentioned that his career’s most memorable, joyous, and fulfilling experience has been working on the Homeland series. While he is disappointed that the series must come to an end, he recognizes that the moment has come.

“Few have been as fortunate as I have been – paired with the extraordinary Claire Danes, backed to the hilt by Fox and Showtime, and working alongside some of the industry’s most creative writers, actresses, and directors. I’m sorry to see this voyage come to an end, but the time has come.”
The series’ stars also paid tribute to the show. Mandy Patinkin, the actor who portrays Saul Berenson, shared a poignant video titled “Homeland Memories” on Facebook.
Maury Sterling, who portrayed Max on the sitcom, tweeted a farewell letter to his Instagram followers.
