Netflix’s ‘bridgerton’ Drops Season 2 Trailer: Watch Now

Following a first teaser that dropped on Valentine’s Day, and did a bit more than, well, tease, Netflix has dropped an official trailer for the second season of period drama television series “Bridgerton” and we have to accept that the second season looks to be more intriguing and do complete justice with the series’ reputation.

Secret glimpses and grieving pants in addition to that, a grumpy game of croquet) persists in the trailer of three minutes and that establishes the core connection of the second season, between Lord Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley) who has arrived newly.

When Anthony starts to date Edwina (played by Charithra Chandran) who is the younger sister of Kate, Kate becomes skeptical about his intentions being not pure and heads off in order to block him.

Obviously, the oral tiff between both of them results in stronger feelings and complexes for the two.

In the meantime, Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan), keeps navigating the ‘ton whilst maintaining her alter ego, blabbermouth Lady Whistledown, a well-shielded secret.

The second season of Bridgerton, is scheduled to air on March 25, 2022, and the series is inspired by the novel “The Viscount Who Loved Me”, this was the second novel of author Julia Quinn’s best-selling series. 

Who Is Returning From the First Season to Join the Cast of Season 2?

Phoebe Dynevor, who portrayed half of the preliminary couple in the first season, is returning for a second season in order to reprise her titular role as Daphne Bridgerton, though her now-husband, the Duke of Hastings, does not appear as Regé-Jean Page notably took an exit from the show following the first season.

According to Netflix, Bridgerton is its most well-known English-language show to date comes from Shondaland and Chris Van Dusen has created it along with serving as executive producers alongside Betsy Beers and Shonda Rhimes.
