Next Week, Apple Is Expected to Release Ios 15.4.

Apple is going to release iOS 15.4 next week. The upgrade, which has been in beta since January, includes a slew of new features that enhance the overall user experience.

Apple did not provide a specific release date; however, it may begin rolling out as an update on March 18th. This is the same day that Apple will begin selling its new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models with elegant green finishes.

As indicated in the press announcement, each phone will come with iOS 15.4, so launching the upgrade on the same day makes logical.

iOS 15.4 introduces a user-friendly Face ID that enables you to unlock your phone while wearing a face mask, a very useful feature (in the beta, at least).

Apple previously attempted to fix the face mask issue by developing a function that skips Face ID to verify your identity via your Apple Watch – assuming you even own one.

The latest update should significantly improve the experience of unlocking your phone while wearing a mask since it will no longer need you to continually key in your passcode or wear an Apple Watch on your wrist.

Apple’s new Tap to Pay functionality is also included in iOS 15.4, converting compatible iPhones into contactless payment terminals. This means that more retailers may use their iPhones as a digital cash register, potentially displacing Square’s built-in card readers. Apple Pay, NFC-enabled credit and debit cards, and other digital wallets are all supported.

Moving on, iOS 15.4 adds a new security feature to AirTags, Apple’s item-tracking technology that has been exploited to follow people in the past. The update adds a warning about using AirTags to follow someone’s location without their agreement, expanding on Apple’s February anti-stalking measures.

Additionally, a fifth American voice for Siri has been added, which Apple has confirmed belongs to a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

IOS 15.4 has 36 new emojis, including a melting face, a person gazing through their fingers, and an awful biting lip image that is certain to earn the same renown as the eggplant emojis.

iOS 15.4 will be compatible with all iOS 15-compatible devices, spanning from the original iPhone 6S to the iPhone 13.
