Metz expressed all of our sentiments by beginning the letter, “I am eternally thankful to Dan Fogelman for picking me to play Kate Pearson.” The 41-year-old just expressed all her feelings, and they were powerful.
“Kate has altered my life in ways I never imagined were possible,” she continued. The lifelong friendships I’ve developed and the daily master class in acting have shaped me into a better lady, friend, sister, and daughter.”
