Official Confirmation of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 With a Release Date Status

Jujutsu Kaisen is a hit anime series that is adapted from the manga series of the same name written by Gege Akutami.

The series was so appreciated and received many positive reviews from critics as well as audiences, it has an IMDB rating of 8.9 out of 10 and 8.71 out of 10 on myanimelist.

The first season of the series premiered on October 3, 2020, and dropped its last episode on March 27, 2021.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date

The official announcement about the renewal of the series for its second season was made on February 12, 2022. Though there is no official confirmation about the exact date for the premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, it is confirmed to be aired in 2023.

Who Will Join the Voice Cast of the Upcoming Season of Jujutsu Kaisen?

The team also confirmed the voice actors to return from both the movie as well as Television series, which includes Junya Enoki portraying the role of the series star Yuji Itadori and Megumi Ogata, who portrays the film star Yuta Okkotsu.

Kana Hanazawa will also be seen, she portrays the character of Rika Orimoto, Yuta’s friend, Yuichi Nakamura, who gave voice to both the series and film star Satoru Gojo, and the character Suguru Geto voiced by Takahiro Sakurai.

The animation studio behind the animation of season one, studio MAPPA, will also be returning for the animation of season two.
