After Lisa Bonet Split From Aquaman, Jason Momoa Talked to Fans

Jason Momoa has addressed his followers following his split from Lisa Bonet. The pair announced their separation after 17 years together, but the Aquaman star has maintained a tight relationship with stepdaughter Zoe Kravitz.

He attended her film The Batman premiere with her children Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.

Momoa addressed the breakup on Instagram shortly after that, writing: “I’m thrilled for everyone to see.” @thebatman @zoeisabellakravitz, you are great as Catwoman, and I am very proud of you.

“We had a fantastic experience in New York City. Thank you to the fans and press for being nice and allowing us room for the children; separating in public is difficult enough. We appreciate your sustained secrecy throughout these trying times.”

The Game Of Thrones star previously discussed the breakup on the red carpet, telling Entertainment Tonight: “We’re just very pleased.” Lisa cannot attend; therefore, it is up to the babies and me to represent her. We’re thrilled to be here. You know, it’s still family. I’m simply representing my family; we’re all quite proud.”

In a statement, the pair, who met in 2005 and married in 2017, announced their breakup earlier this year.

“We have all felt the pinch and changes brought about by these transformative times… A revolution is taking place – and our family is no exception experiencing and growing as a result of the seismic upheavals taking place,” it said. “And therefore – we communicate our family news — that we are divorcing.
