Alice in Borderland Season 2| Plot

Let us take a dig into the events that happened in the first season before getting a sneak peek into the storyline of the upcoming season.

Arisu, a 24-year-old young man who is addicted to gaming, fell into a fatal competition in a weirdly vacant Tokyo. He goes through a sequence of difficulties led by a mysterious power, with the hardships and fatality of each indicated by the suit and number of a playing card, he is not alone, two of his friends are also with him in all this.

Arisu meets Usagi, a young woman, and accompanies her in unraveling the mystery at hand in order to get all the playing cards that are available following the death of both of his friends in one of the games.

Their feats bring them to a big hotel that is packed with the other players, and there it is disclosed that all the cards have been obtained bar the Ten of Hearts.

When the last challenge is embarked upon for the Ten of Hearts, it leads to killing a number of the other players in the hotel, though Arisu and Usagi find an underground place, where they find the dead people and they were those for whom they believed was the “gamemasters.”

Then, they were introduced to a woman, Mira, and she says that this is just the beginning of the games and that now the face cards are at risk.

The last episode of the first season continued to grow the scope of the drama and it is quite safe to say that the second season can bring anything for us a surprise.

But more particularly, it is expected that Arisu and Usagi will go on to look for the required final cards, which may lead them to clash with Mira Kano who is the Queen of Hearts appeared during the end of season one.

Shinsuke Sato, who served as the director of the first season, provided a hint about what season 2 can bring for us, saying that “I will draw a mysterious world that no one has ever seen and an unexpected development with uncompromising images.” Sounds freaky!
