Before leaving Early Access, Baldur’s Gate 3 still has “around a year of development left.”

Though it has been available in early access since October 2020, Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be released in its entirety anytime soon. According to Larian Studios, the game will remain in early access until sometime next year.

Swen Vincke, director of Baldur’s Gate 3, told Fanbyte during a panel discussion, “We’re nearing the conclusion of the production, but we’ll still issue a few fixes. We estimate that we have around a year of work remaining at this stage.

Must check: During this James Gunn matter, Rick and Morty get their hands dirty.

Thus, it will not be for many months at the 1.0 level, but we are working with burndown charts that are decreasing rather than increasing.”

Larian Studios has published Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3, including the Barbarian class. It boosts the overall number of classes in the game to nine.

Additionally, we now know when we’ll witness the end of the game’s companion romances (currently, none are live in the game). They will be included in Baldur’s Gate 3 with the complete release, according to Larian Studios.

“We still have a lot of work to do on the companions, which includes the romantic moments,” Vincke told Fanbyte. “We still need to manufacture a big number of them.

We’ve been experimenting and tried several different things, and there are still some modifications to be made. As a result, I’m assuming that most of them will be available on 1.0, as they’ll be ready late.”
