The release of a new trailer for “The Adam Project” kicks off a jam-packed Netflix 2022 movie preview.

Last week, Netflix released a jam-packed glimpse of their 2022 film schedule, with the teaser narrated by the stars of some of their most anticipated future movies.

Leading the charge was Rian Johnson’s highly anticipated Knives Out 2, the plot of which remains a mystery (sorry); we also saw snippets of footage from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio (no, not the animated version currently trending on TikTok) and The Gray Man, directed by MCU stalwarts The Russo Brothers.

One of the most enticing names for streamer lovers — at least from the internet — is The Adam Project, a family-friendly sci-fi film starring Ryan Reynolds. Netflix has released more videos from The Adam Project as part of the extended peek package.

The first teaser, which debuted halfway through the week, suggests a universal time-travel scenario. Adam (Walker Scobell) is a 13-year-old boy who has lost his father, Mark Ruffalo.

However, one evening, he discovers an injured pilot in his garage: an older version of himself — ah, that’s where the plural Adam comes from — who has arrived from a future when time travel technology is still in its infancy.

Must check: One of the stars of the new Star Wars series, Ray Stevenson, is joining Rosario Dawson in the role of Ahsoka (Exclusive)

Together, they go on a journey into the past to locate their father, rectify wrongs, and eventually redeem the planet. (A difficult feat, considering the two Adam’s apparent dislike for one another.)

However, fans are clamoring for more Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and Zoe Saldaa after releasing the teaser trailer for Shawn Levy’s highly anticipated action-packed extravaganza flick The Adam Project this week.

Therefore, after a brief meeting, we’re calling an audible and concluding our supersized preview with an exclusive new look at our family-friendly time-travel adventure, The Adam Project. After the game, treat yourselves to a Netflix movie night.”

Take a look at the new Netflix preview package embedded below. The Adam Project will be available on Netflix on March 11.
