Introduction to the Show and Release Date

After teasing the fans previously this week, AMC has declared an official release date for the forthcoming sixth and final season of Better Call Saul. The seven-episode Part 1 of Better Call Saul season six will release on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC and AMC Plus.

Two episodes will come out that evening, with the rest streaming weekly. The other half of the season will then release this summer on July 11.

Besides that, the company revealed a first-look photo from the next season, which displays Bob Odenkirk in his character of the titular lawyer.

In the final chapter of season 5, Nacho’s scheme of having Lalo killed at his home was disrupted by the cartel member, who fought off the shooters before organizing another plan to take revenge.

Better Call Saul was renewed for its last season in January 2020 before the release of season 5. Season 6 was slated to stream in 2021 but it was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Apart from Odenkirk, the sixth season features actors Rhea Seehorn in the role of Kim, Jonathan Banks in the role of Mike, Giancarlo Esposito as Gus, Michael Mando as Nacho, Tony Dalton as Lalo, and many others.

According to co-producer and showrunner Peter Gould, the upcoming season is the most demanding, surprising, and heartbreaking. Gould added that despite the immensely difficult circumstances the whole team of Saul had outperformed themselves.

Release Platforms

Traditionally Better Call Saul has been released internationally through Netflix a day after its release in the US. So it can be expected to happen this time too. Seasons 1 to 5 of Better Call Saul are airing on Netflix with the sixth release in April.
