Introduction and Release Date of the Game
Sony has officially declared a release date for its remastered Uncharted 5 which is known as the Legacy of Thieves Collection for PlayStation 5.
It will be released on January 28th. That release date is only for the PS5 edition though. Song still has not confirmed a date for the PC edition apart from the same 2022 date it had previously announced.
Sony also implied that those who already have either Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or the digital two-pack PS4 collection of both will be able to upgrade to the latest Legacy of Thieves Collection on PS5 for $10 instead of purchasing the new collection again for the full amount of $49.99.

Gameplay Modes and Price
There are a few conditions associated with the new collection though. Gamers who have a copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for free through PlayStation Plus would not be entitled to the free $10 upgrade. Also, the multiplayer modes from both titles included in the collection won’t be there in the new remasters.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will provide three different choices for the PS5 port: Fidelity Mode for 4K/30fps gameplay, Performance mode which gives a 60fps frame rate, and Performance Plus Mode which lowers resolution down to 1080p but provides a 120fps frame rate.
Performance on Ps5 and Offers
The remastered collection will also influence the PS5’s normal hardware upgrades including the DualSense controller’s touch feedback and adaptive triggers, 3D audio, and rapid load times because of the PS5’s fast SSD.
Finally, Sony is making it more beneficial for anyone who purchases Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection between now and February 3rd by giving an offer of a free movie ticket to see the upcoming Uncharted movie adaptation featuring Tom Holland.
