A new project of Days of Our Lives is all set to release this month. Earlier at a special event, it was confirmed by the actress Eileen Davidson that a holiday movie, Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, is on the way. So, be ready for a soapy holiday!
After the massive love and appreciation that Peacock’s Days of our Lives limited series Beyond Salem received, the famous daily soap is there again around the corner for a new holiday movie, A Very Salem Christmas.
In recent months, this is the second special Days of Our Lives event. Previous to this fall, the series with five episodes, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem premiered on the streaming platform and several past and present cast members were present in the movie. The Days of Our Lives soap opera is continuing to broadcast on weekdays on NBC and has been even renewed for its 58th season for 2022-23.
Days of Our Lives Synopsis
Coming to the plot, Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas revolves around Will Horton since he writes a screenplay ahead of his Christmas Eve timeline. Utilizing everyone’s favorite feel-good holiday movie tropes, he has created a festive storyline based on his family and friends in Salem, however, with several twists and turns you will never see coming.
Helping out his husband with the screenplay, Sonny (Zach Tinker) tells Will, “All the best Christmas movies always take place in quaint, little towns full of Mom-and-Pop shops and lots of holiday cheer.”

The movie stars Chandler Massey, the film will revolve around Will Horton (Massey) as he writes a screenplay before his Christmas Eve deadline. Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas will be released on the 16th of this month on the NBCUniversal streamer and the official trailer is also out. Click on the link below to watch the trailer.
The trailer provides fans with a glance at what it is in the story designed for the characters from John (played by Drake Hogestyn) in a relationship with Kristen (played by Eileen Davidson) to Paulina (played by Jackée Harry) showing off a new hair color and return of Nick Fallon from the dead (played by Blake Berris).

Adding further, Sonny also noted that most of the Christmas movies are generally love stories, reacting to which Will says “What’s a good love story without some twists and turns?”
Though everything looks “merry and bright” within the town of Salem, “twists and turns” brought by Will, would be putting some of the fictional characters in difficult circumstances. Marlena (Deidre Hall) pleads “We’re going to need some help down here. Maybe even a Christmas miracle.”

Coming to the cast members who will be seen yet again to reprise their roles, Camila Banus, Alison Sweeney, Raven Bowens, Ari Zucker, Billy Flynn, Eric Martsolf, Paul Telfer, Lucas Adams, Lindsay Arnold, Greg Rikaart, Carson Boatman, and Dan Feuerriegel.
The movie produced by Corday Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television, the festive movie is coming from executive producer Ken Corday, Albert Alarr also joins as co-executive producer, and Ron Carlivati as head writer.
